Now, a major turning point has arrived. The school has officially opened its new term at a fully renovated campus in Fu Shin Estate, occupying the former premises of CCC Kei Ching Primary School.

In the immediate aftermath of the devastating November blaze, safety concerns and logistical nightmares forced school operations into limbo. Students were forced apart, divided between two separate temporary campuses within the district. For a primary school community, keeping young children separated from their peers and dispersing teachers across multiple locations creates an enormous strain on daily education.
The Education Bureau stepped in to allocate the vacant Fu Shin Estate facility. Getting the site ready was no small task. Extensive renovations costing roughly HK$43.6 million poured into modernizing the old school infrastructure. Crews overhauled classrooms, upgraded outdated sanitation facilities, repainted exterior walls, resurfaced sports grounds, and replaced aging lifts to ensure the new site met modern standards. The government also handed out a one-off HK$1 million relocation grant to handle logistics and new equipment purchases.
What the Transition Means for Students and Families
Bringing nearly six hundred pupils back under one roof changes everything for families who spent months managing complicated transit arrangements. Parents who previously had to navigate split schedules and unfamiliar drop-off points now have a centralized location.
On the first day of term at the Fu Shin Estate site, students expressed immediate relief. No longer caught in daily shuttles between makeshift classrooms, older primary students noted that the unified campus brings back a normal routine, allowing everyone to concentrate fully on academics rather than logistics.
Secretary for Education Christine Choi attended the opening ceremony, touring the upgraded facilities and meeting with teachers and students to mark the official reunification of the school body.
